Who we are

Banalasa is an organic banana grower and export company, founded 2015 in Dominican Republic by experts with more than 20 years of experience in cultivating and exporting organic bananas in the tropical climate of the Caribbean.

The basis of Banalasa is built on four columns: Quality, Continuity, Confidence and Sustainability.

Banalasa stands for ethical values, for transparency and sincerity, and features a promising vision in a pleasant ambience.

Experiencing successful and constant growth Banalasa is actually exporting around 20,000 tones of Bananas a year, with organic and organic Fairtrade, mostly to Europe More than 50% of Banalasa’s total exports are originating from the production of its own farms.

BanaLasa owns more than 300ha of own production in the Dominica Republic making us one of the largest growers in the country, our weekly production is around 10,000 boxes. All of our farms are Organic and GlobalGap Certified. Some of the farms are also Fairtrade, RFA certified.

We plan to move all of our production Demeter certified in the comming years.
We also have country espcific certifications, like Sedex for the UK Market.

BanaLasa also obtain high quality bananas from other associated growers.
